KESTREL GYMNASTICS SUCCESS IN 2019

WELSH TUMBLING CHAMPIONSHIPS - HAVERFORDWEST

Competing for the first time In the 9 yrs Foundation Level, Kestrel gymnats Brereton Trim won Silver and Robin Kedward was Welsh Champion winning Gold.  They did extremely well in this their first National Tumbling Championships, performing three different tumbles of six moves.  In the NDP Level 2 13 year old James Davies placed third winning Bronze, and Maisie Edwards qualifying in the top 8 in NDP Level 3, went on to the Finals, ranked fifth in Wales.

Maisie was one of the six gymnasts representing SE Wales, and performed an excellent Beam routine, winning Silver - just missing out on Gold by 0.1 ! and also winning Team Bronze.

Good results - 13 medals, 2 trophies, Place Ribbons & Rosettes.  Congratulations to Daniel, Zephyr, Miley and Shannyn who qualified to represent SE Region in the National Finals, and also well done to those competing for the first time, hopefully it was a good experience.

Well done to all who took part, specially those who were competing for the first time.  Although improvements are being made all the time, remember the judges are looking for perfect skill executions !!
